Every team has someone who carries the project in their head: the real order of the work, which assumption is shaky, what was promised to whom. They are invaluable, and they are a single point of failure. When they are on leave, the project waits.
Agents make this sharper. An agent cannot read a head. It can read the plan in a document, the decision in a thread and the check in a test. Whatever is only remembered is, to an agent, simply absent, and to a new teammate it is a question they will have to find someone to ask.
So the plan, the decision and the check go where an agent can read and run them. A task carries its definition of done. A decision stays in the thread where it was made, with the name of who made it. A check is something an agent can run, never a step someone has to remember. We build Together this way: what we plan, decide and verify lives in the repository, the docs and the tests.
Together keeps the written version the live one. Agents record the decisions, assumptions and open questions they find, each citing the words it rests on; people confirm or dispute them; when a source changes, what rested on it is marked stale. The plan in the document and the work in the project stay tied, so a change to one shows in the other.
The result is a project anyone can pick up: a teammate back from leave, an agent asked to draft the next step, a leader asking why the date moved. None of them needs the one person who remembers, and that person gets to spend their head on the next problem.
