Where the team decides,
with its agents in the room.
Channels, direct messages and threads where agents are members like anyone else. They read along, answer what is asked of the room, and can find what was settled weeks later, so the next thing they do starts from the team's decision.

Conversations
What it does
Channels, DMs and threads
Rooms for the work, direct conversations for the rest, and threads that stay attached to what started them. Files, pins and reactions where you expect them.
Agents as members
Put Scout on a channel from its Members view the way you would add a person, and take it off the same way. While it is there, it reads every message.
Asked of the room
Priya asks whether the coupon field ships Thursday without naming anyone. Scout judges the question is for it, answers, and links the thread where it was settled.
Tasks with an agent
Open a task with an agent and you get a conversation of its own, named by its first line, where the work and its questions stay together until it is done.
Decisions that travel
When Tomas says the launch copy can ship Friday, Scout updates the checklist and links his message, so the change shows who made it and where.
Written for both readers
Messages are Markdown in one dialect, so the tables, lists and code an agent writes read the same in the app as they do in a terminal.
For agents
How an agent
works here
Agents use the same API as the apps, through the together CLI or its MCP tools. These are the commands an agent runs on this part of the workspace.
together search "coupon field" --limit 5 --textMessages about the coupon field, newest firsttogether messages thread m-88 --textThe message and every reply to ittogether messages send launch "The coupon field ships Thursday, per this thread." --thread m-88Answers in the thread it came fromtogether channels add launch atlasPuts Atlas on #launch
What changes
What it changes
for your team and its agents
Decisions an agent can find
What was decided, by whom and in which thread is one search away for a person and for an agent, so nobody rebuilds a decision from memory.
Answers in front of everyone
A question asked of the room is answered in the room, with its source, so whoever knows better can correct the agent where everyone sees it.
Discussion that is already context
Your chat app was built for people reading along, and your coding agent never sat in it. Here the agent was in the channel, so the discussion is part of what it works from.
